Crash Course
Skid Row in DTLA in 1992 is not a place one would normally decide to spend a summer. Everything about it shouts tragedy. All that we don’t want to look at as a society is there. And we avoid it at all costs.
But has your life choices ever led you somewhere you never imagined going? One summer, long ago, mine did. The sheer volume of tragedy completely upended my fundamental assumptions about the world being safe, predictable, or fair. Crash Course is that story.
